HCAL needs volunteers at the Everything Jersey City Festival on Central Ave. (bet. Congress and Hutton) in Jersey City Heights. We'll be collecting donations, informing people about how we help homeless animals, and selling T-shirts under a tent.

We need strong-armed help early and late in the day for setup/takedown of that tent, and in between it's a long and busy day so we'll need lots of help in staffing our booth (handing out literature, helping T-shirt customers, etc.). And our volunteers get to enjoy a cool festival with lots of great food, shopping and entertainment.

This is an important fundraising event for us -- between veterinary expenses, boarding costs and supplies, it costs over $9,000 a month for HCAL to care for our homeless pets.
