HOBOKEN, NJ—May 19, 2010-- W Hoboken and VH1 Save The Music Foundation (VH1 STM) today announced an exclusive partnership dedicated to restoring instrumental music programs in schools across the country.
As part of the partnership, W Hoboken will dedicate the hotel's Fantastic Suite to supporting VH1 Save The Music Foundation, where a percentage of the room rate will be donated to support the Foundation's work to restore instrumental music education programs. The newly decked out Suite will house special music memorabilia and décor on loan from VH1 Music and Talent Executives, including Gold and Platinum records from artists such as Beyonce, The Fray, and Bon Jovi.
The Save The Music inspired suite will also feature a ready-to-play Epiphone guitar featuring a custom strap generously created and donated by Red Monkey Designs, and Rock Band 2, challenging guests to find their inner Rock Star. Upon arrival, guests will be treated to a celebrity Welcome Call from VH1 Save The Music Foundation Ambassador and Grammy-Award winner, Chrisette Michele, as well as a message from Jim Shearer, host of VH1 Top 20 Video Countdown. W Hoboken is offering an exclusive opportunity for guests who book the suite to be entered to win two tickets to a VH1 Save The Music gala in November along with a Epiphone guitar valued at over $5000.
