'Broadway in Hoboken' To Benefit Relief Fund

A lineup of Broadway performers are collaborating for an evening of song and dance at the Monroe Theatrespace on Sunday, January 20 at 7 p.m..

This weekend, theatre buffs don't have to take the PATH train to see some Broadway.

Stars who've graced the stage in Manhattan are coming to Hoboken on Sunday evening for a Sandy benefit concert hosted by the Mile Square Theatre.

A number of performers, including Anne Brummel from the national tour of Wicked and John Leone from Jersey Boys, are collaborating for an evening of a song and dance. Tickets are $100 a pop.

All proceeds from the event will be given to the Rebuild Hoboken Relief Fund, which has already raised over $600,000. The fund is intended to help Hoboken residents, businesses and non-profits that suffered losses during Sandy.

The concert will be held on Sunday, January 20 at 7 p.m. at the Monroe Theatrespace, 720 Monroe St., in Hoboken. For tickets or more information, visit BrownPaperTickets.com.
