City Council to Vote on $2.6M in Emergency Appropriations

The city continues to appropriate money to pay for post-Sandy repairs around town.

The Hoboken City Council is expected to vote on $2,650,000 in emergency appropriations for the ongoing repair of post-Sandy damage.

The Hoboken City Council is meeting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday for the last scheduled council meeting of 2012.

Late last month, the city approved $4.2 million in emergency appropriations.

The road to paying for all the damage will take some more time and appropriations, though, since Mayor Dawn Zimmer has said the damage in Hoboken could be as much as $100 million.
