A new parking director and a permanent construction officer was hired.

The city has hired a new parking utility director as well as a permanent construction official.

Both started their jobs on Monday, said spokesman Juan Melli.

Morgan will earn $103,000 annually.

Patruno already worked for the city as the electrical subcode official and has served as acting construction official.

Patruno will earn an annual salary of $97,200, a base of $90,000 and 8 percent longevity that amounts to $7,200.

Mario is an excellent choice. He is incredibly knowledgeable and a man of integrity.
I wish Mr Morgan the best.
