City Offers Free Rabies Vaccination Clinic

Get your pets vaccinated!

From the City of Hoboken:

The Hoboken Health Department will host a free rabies vaccination clinic for dogs and cats on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Multi Service Center at 124 Grand St.

All dogs and cats must be securely fastened with a collar and leash or in a carrier and accompanied by an adult. Dog owners must have a 2012 Hoboken dog license which can be obtained on site. Proof of Hoboken residency is required. License fees are $10 if the pet is spayed/neutered and $14 for non-spayed/neutered.

Please be aware that all dogs whose rabies vaccination expires at any point in 2012 will not be issued a 2012 dog license. Rabies vaccination must be valid for the entire year. It is recommended that dogs receive vaccination every two years. A veterinarian from the Animal Infirmary of Hoboken will administer the vaccine. Please take advantage of this opportunity to protect yourself and your pet against rabies.
