Fight Breaks Out At McDonald's in Hoboken

Police Blotter

A fight between two groups of men broke out inside McDonald's on Second and Washington Streets early Friday morning, according to police reports.

According to the report, four men were behaving disorderly inside the restaurant around 2:20 a.m., throwing food at each other and other tables. When one man got up to confront the group, police said, the argument turned physical.

Police could not immediately obtain the surveillance video from inside McDonald's, according to the report.

One man told police he was punched to the ground, while his friend said he was struck in the face, according to the reports.

The four alleged assaulters left the restaurant and took a cab downtown, police said. Later police found the cab driver, who said he had brought the men to Bayonne, according to police reports.

The two men with wounds were taken to Jersey City Medical Center, police said.

No arrests were made.
