Hoboken Named One of Twelve Best 'Foodie' Towns in NJ
The Star Ledger named Hoboken one of its top 12 best Jersey places for food lovers.
Hoboken is one of the best places in the state to get food, according to the Star-Ledger.
Well, duh. Any Hobokenite could have told you that. But, it's really nice to get the recognition.
As part of the Ledger's Dining Dozen series, Hoboken was put in the spotlight as a great place to eat.
Other towns that got the same honor include Morristown, Asbury Park and Newark.
According to the Ledger, Hoboken has a "food friendly boulevard."
And of course, we at Patch agree.
The story mentions Hoboken's multiple options for good food, such as local pizzerias, food trucks and Mexican food.
The Pilsener Haus—which celebrates its one year anniversary in town this week—was named the best place for beer, while Benny Tudino's—a well known staple with giant slices—was named the best place for pizza.
The author also splurged at La Isla, his favorite Cuban diner in Hoboken. Some other Cuban establishments have joined the culinary landscape in Hoboken with The Cuban and Havana opening in the Mile Square recently.
We have been asking you for your favorites in town, take a moment and cast your vote in one—or multiple—of our categories in Hoboken's Best 2012.
