Dozens and dozens of thoughts and wishes are currently covering the halls of Hoboken's City Hall.

High School students from the Hoboken Charter School thought of the project, with help from their teacher Mira Septimus.

"I wanted to do something to support Hoboken," said Septimus, last week in City Hall.

The result: an art project that expresses thoughts and prayers for those most affected by Superstorm Sandy.

A lot of the kids drew pictures, wrote stories or wished the best to those who lost everything.

Mayor Dawn Zimmer said she would like to keep the paper templates of bricks up in City Hall for as long as possible. And, Zimmer added, there is room for expansion up the City Hall stairs.

Seniors Dillon Farley, 18, and Tabitha Escoear, 17, spearheaded the project together with Septimus.

"I hope people can get through this," said Farley, "and get the help they need."

The Healing Wall is up in the City Hall lobby.
