Pink is the manliest color in Hoboken this month.

Fire fighters from the Hoboken Fire Department will be wearing pink shirts in honor of breast cancer awareness month. On Tuesday afternoon, Mayor Dawn Zimmer—also wearing the pink shirt—and the firemen showed off their new shirts.

The firemen will also show off their legs this Sunday, when they take part in the tutu project, said spokesman Juan Melli.

The Tutu Project is taking place in Hoboken on Sunday. Besides seeing Hoboken's firemen show off their legs, participants are invited to walk a mile and a half by the waterfront or join in on the brunch and book signing after.
