Hoboken Man Captured After Threatening to Jump on Downtown Train tracks

On Monday morning a man, known to police, threatened to jump on the NJ Transit traintracks.

 

A 37-year-old Hoboken man, who is known to police, threatened to jump on the downtown NJ Transit traintracks on Observer Highway on Monday morning, according to police.

The man also threatened to jump off Pier A Park into the Hudson on Sunday around 8:30 p.m. Afterward he was transported to the Hoboken University Medical Center, according to a police report on the matter.

On Monday morning the crisis team from the Jersey City Medical Center as well as Hoboken police was on the scene, to prevent the formation of a crowd and potentially transport the man to the hospital, according to reports from the police radio.

NJ Transit had a big air mattress out on Monday morning in case the man would jump, Hoboken police said.

This is the third time the man has threatened to commit suicide in Hoboken.On Nov. 28, the man was saved from the Hudson by Hoboken police.

I bet that if the cops don't show up , this idiot will not jump.
It's time to put this guy away and stop wasting tax payers money.
Let him kill himself already.
