The Hoboken Redwings captured their ninth State Championship in program history Friday night at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford.

The Hoboken High School football team defeated Roselle Park High School 39 to 9 under coach Lou Taglieri.

“The storm didn't stop us,” Taglieri told The Star-Ledger. “We made it through and we're bringing a title back to Hoboken."

A parade for the Redwings will be held on Monday at 3:30 p.m. The parade will start at 11th and Washington Streets and end at City Hall, 94 Washington Street.
