Hobokenite, Brooklyn Nets Guard Tyshawn Taylor Welcomes Housing Authority Students Back to School

Tyshawn Taylor visited the Hoboken Housing Authority on Thursday.

Now this is going back to school in style.

Tyshawn Taylor, a Hoboken native who was recently drafted to play for the Brooklyn Nets, showed up to the Hoboken Housing Authority on Thursday afternoon with back to school goodies for local students.

Taylor also gave away the new video game NBA Baller Beats.

Taylor graduated from Kansas and was drafted 41st in the 2012 NBA pick.

"I want to spread some cheer and inspiration to the neighborhood where I grew up," Taylor said. "Being a part of the Brooklyn Nets organization allows me to continue to be connected to this community, I am truly grateful for that."
