Hobokenite Allegedly Robbed at ATM

Hoboken police arrested 28-year-old Marcus Jordan on Tuesday night, after he allegedly robbed a 25-year-old Hobokenite by forcing him to take out money from his account. 

The incident happened around 9:30, police said, when the two men ran into each other in front of the at 300 Bloomfield St. 

Marcus allegedly came up to the victim and placed an unknown object to his chest, according to police reports. Jordan then allegedly told the man that he owed him money, because the $80 he got earlier were counterfeit, police said.

The two walked to the  at 126 Hudson St. While inside, the victim was unable to take out any money due to insufficient funds in his account, according to police reports.
