When we say we want to start the new year off with a bang, most people don't mean it literally.
Around 1:15 a.m. on New Year's Day, however, a Haledon man was punched in a fight at mcDonald's on Washington Street, police said.
Police responded to reports of a large fight inside of McDonald's, accoording to the police report. Police found the man bleeding from a laceration above his right eye and he had several bruises on his face, according to the report.
Police called the Hoboken Volunteer Ambulance Corps and the man was treated, police said.
No arrests were made.

I think the solution here is to shut down McDonald's at 1am. Obviously McDonald's is the problem and shutting it down will prevent this type of behavior. hahahahahhahaha
