92 Summonses Written; Crime Down Since Last Year's St. Patrick's Day

According to the mayor's office, there was a total of 394 calls for service.

The number of people sent to the hospital as well as the total number of calls for service during Hoboken's St. Patrick's Day celebrations were significantly lower than last year, according to numbers released by the mayor's office.

While some attributed the lower numbers to the lack of a parade, others said that early morning rain on Saturday deterred people from coming to town. No matter what it actually was,

This year, according to the mayor's statistics, police wrote 92 city summonses as opposed to last year's 296.
