In what seems to have become a weekly tradition, a 24-year-old Basking Ridge man was assaulted at McDonald's on Washington St. on Saturday around 1 a.m.
According to police reports, the 24-year-old was eating at the restaurant around 1 .m. on Saturday when two men started arguing with him. The Basking Ridge man was punched in the face, causing a contusion on his left temple, police said.
The alleged assaulters left the establishment through the Third Street entrance and fled, police said. The men weren't found and no arrests were made, according to police.

I remember the good old days when only the french fries were assaulted at McDonalds. Now the police blotter is peppered with McDonald's incidents. They need some kind of counter-offensive before they have egg on their face while they cook the McMuffins.

Is a Happy Meal at this McDonald's one where you eat your meal drunk and are able to leave without getting into a fight?
Maybe it is time to bring Taco Bell to this location. Taco Bell is much more civilized!
