Talk about a rough night.
A 24-year-old Jersey City man was the victim of not one, but two assaults on Saturday around 2:20 a.m. after a night of partying at 200 Lounge, according to a police report on the matter.
The man walked out of the club around 2 a.m. to smoke a cigarette, police said, when a girl in the street started talking to him. The girl's boyfriend told the victim to stop talking to the woman and the altercation turned physical, police said, with the victim getting punched in the face.
Then, the victim walked back into the club to get his 21-year-old cousin. As the two were leaving the club, police said, another man allegedly assaulted the man. The second assault was unrelated to the first one, police said.
The two victims were transported to the hospital and no arrests were made.
