What are the odds on another Italian restaurant?

Uhhh, great. What I've always wanted, yo eat at a place owned by a couple of douchey guys who just moved out of their Momma's house and have no culinary background.

I stand corrected. According to my wife they have culinary experience, but they're douchey nonetheless.

I'm interested only because of Michael Sinensky and Sean McGarr - they did a great job with Little Town NY and Village Pourhouse. I'd gladly have more restaurants like that in our town than most of the mediocre restaurants that are here.
I can't speak for the Manzo Brothers. I don't know them, only meeting them once while walking my dog - and they seemed like regular 20-something guys. Their family owns "The Brownstone" in Paterson NJ, and if it is half as good as that place, it can be a hit (especially in Hoboken which only has a handful of good places to eat).

My attitude is simple. If it's good - I don't care who owns it, i'll eat there. If it sucks, then I won't.

So what happened with their BLK deal and the vineyard deal with the wine company?

Everyone deserves a chance. I say reserve judgement and let the restaurant speak for itself. If it is good and managed well, it will succeed. If not it will fail. There is always room for a good establishment.

negative comments from people who are jealous. does not matter who owns it, a successful place in Hoboken is good for everyone, especially retail and other bars that will get some new faces. sean mcgarr is a great guy. guy does more for people than anyone i know, guy has a heart of gold.
