New Hoboken Moms Site Launches

Hoboken Mommies is joining the Mile Square's internet community.

After the streets of Hoboken, strollers are taking over the internet as well.

A new website is joining Hoboken's online community: Hoboken Mommies. According to founder Sarah Himmelbaum, the new site is a place for mothers to network. The site is also a "one stop destination for parents and offer many different resources from forums and support groups to classifieds and deals around town," she wrote in an email.

Another popular group for local mothers is the Yahoo-based Hoboken Moms group, which has thousands of members.

You can also find Hoboken Mommies on Facebook.

There are lots of 'mommy bloggers' and Printapons deal sites that track current coupons and store deals and list them online each week.

If it's a "one stop destination for parents" why is it gendered female? I guess Dads are now "Mommies"?

You can change the appearance of the website within the top navigation. There are three color schemes available, one of them being blue.

NEED A PHOTOGRAPHER? I have a friend who lives in Jersey City and she often forwards me messages from other Mothers who are looking for an affordable photographer to shoot their kids or families. If you know of anyone who needs a good photographer, do let me know. You can see some samples of my work here:
