New Novel Set in Hoboken

The list of novels set in Hoboken is growing rapidly. The latest: Patricia Scribner's 'Curse of the Boyfriend Sweater.'

This holiday season, Hobokenites will be able to give away novels set in their home town. After a new novel is now available: Patricia Scribner's Curse of the Boyfriend Sweater.

The novel features "seven original knitting patterns, is a light-hearted tale of love, loss, friendships, and knitting," according to Patricia and Adam Scribner, owners of Patricia's yarns and authors of the book. The story is set in Hoboken and New York City.

Announcing the novel, the Scribners wrote: "The idea for Curse of the Boyfriend Sweater was scribbled onto napkins in 2004, started in 2006, scrapped for a new outline in 2008, re-written in 2009, and edited many times since. Curse was a labor of love."
