You know it's an official opening when Cake Boss Buddy Valastro bakes you a larger-than-life cake.
On Saturday, Valastro—as well as some elected Hoboken officials—celebrated the opening of Office Depot at 59 Washington St.
This is the first new tenant since Barnes and Noble left the store in April 2010.
Hoboken's Office Depot location employs 21 people, according to a press release. On Saturday, the Make-a-Wish Foundation of New Jersey received a $1,000 donation from the Office Depot Foundation.
For your office supply needs, but without the cake: store hours are Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. This location can be reached by phone at 201-533-4414.
