Oddfellow's Rest Closing Saturday, Celebrating Last Night With Big Party
The New Orleans themed bar is scheduled to close its doors for good.
Oddfellow's Rest, a staple in Hoboken's night life, is closing Saturday, according to an announcement on its website.
In October, the restaurant's new owner told Patch about the New Orleans-themed bar's scheduled closure.
The new place will be a Mexican BBQ restaurant, new owner Mario Fini said in a previous interview.
Saturday January 5, the bar — which is known for its Mardi Gras celebration and other Southern traditions — will officially shutter its doors.
Correction: a previous version of this post mistakenly stated that the bar's last day is Friday. Oddfellow's is open for business on Friday Jan. 4.

Just more of the same. Loud music, sports on TV, drink specials, decent food with terrible service from hooteriffic waitresses.

The owner owns Teak. I'm thinking thump thump thump thump fist fist thump thump music. This will just become another place for the Staten Island hair gel crew to get their jersey shore on.

Really, you guys at Patch complained Oddfellows was "just a bar" when you reviewed it.
