Reports: Missing Hoboken Woman is Safe

Emily Grace is back in New York City.

Hobokenite Emily Grace, the subject of missing person flyers all over town, is apparently back at home with family and friends, but it's unclear why she disappeared.

Grace, 45, was last seen close to Rockwood Music Hall in the Lower East Side of Manhattan on Aug. 1, according to a Facebook page dedicated to the search. The site has been updated to show that Grace has been found.

"We are so grateful to share with you that Emily is safe. We want to thank all of you for the many kind words and prayers you have shared with our family," states the page. "We understand that there may be many questions about what has happened over the last several weeks but we ask you to respect Emily's privacy during this time of healing and transition."

The Florida Sun-Sentinel reported that Grace was seen withdrawing money on a surveillance tape Aug. 3 in South Florida.

"On Aug. 24, her duffel bag containing clothing and other possessions was found in [the town of] Celebration. Employees at a golf course in that Osceola County community told investigators they also found Grace's debit card," according to the Sentinel.

But the Sentinel Sunday quoted a spokeswoman for the Osceola County sheriff's department who said Grace was safe with her family in New York.

It's still unclear what happened, and why Grace went to Florida.
