Child Left on Bus Unattended; Employees Disciplined
In July, a 7-year-old boy was left on a Hoboken school bus unattended at the Wallace School.
A 7-year-old boy was left on a school bus unattended last month, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Mark Toback confirmed on Friday morning.
The incident happened on July 17 around 1 p.m. at the Wallace School, Toback said. Toback said the child was left alone on the bus for less than half an hour.
Toback said a few employees were "disciplined" as a result of the incident, but could not release further details, citing personnel issues.
Toback added that the employees were "dealt with."
"There is no excuse for this," Toback said. "We take this extremely seriously."
"Nobody was injured," he continued. While there could be a potential for problems in a situation like this, Toback continued, "there was no crisis."
The matter was raised at a school board meeting earlier this week. The district took all the necessary steps, including filling out forms with the Department of Education and the Department of Transportation, Toback said.

New puzzled policy. When commenting about our schools, I will no longer respond to any posts where the spelling or grammer/punctuation falls below a fifth grade level.

No, just limits the amount of time I waste posting stuff around here, or so I thought. I don't feel superior to anyone around here, nor do I care to, just living my life wasting time on patch.

Looks like Redwing forever needs a no-show job, or maybe a cell phone, or a steak dinner, etc. Hungry little bugger. Sorry, current administration won't deal. Try the HHA.

A dad left his 7-month-old daughter in his stifling car in Queens yesterday, cops said.
The baby was spotted at about 2:30 p.m. in Robert Brown’s Mitsubishi in Ozone Park, cops said.
The fan was on but the windows were up, leaving the child in the heat, cops said. It was not clear how long she was alone.
Brown, 32, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child. His baby was taken to Jamaica Hospital for evaluation.
any charges on the Hoboken school workers who left the child on the bus?

If you are concerned, I would contact the Hoboken Police Department, who would be the ones responsible for determining whether charges should be filed. I don't believe the school board has legal jurisdiction to press charges.
Also, 7 months and 7 years are a big difference in development.

Puzzle done that sounds like the Catholic Church, Admin should check with the police 7 months or 7 years heat can kill them.
This has nothing to do with the board it has to do with School admin.

("I will no longer respond to any posts where the spelling or grammer/punctuation falls below a fifth grade level".) Do You Think Puzzle's Kids First Majority on the BOE felt the same way about that asst. to BA ? (7 months and 7 years are a big difference in development) I think the PARENT of that Child would differ with Puzzle .
