Sunny Skies Predicted for Hoboken's Irish Festival

The second annual Irish festival is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. on Wednesday.

The rain is predicted to pass before Hobokenites are invited to celebrate Irish heritage at Frank Sinatra Park on Wednesday afternoon.

For the second time, the city is hosting the event on Wednesday.

The event is sponsored by the city and is supposed to be a replacement for the St. Patrick's Day Parade. This year marks the second year without a St. Patrick's Day Parade in Hoboken.

Thousands of visitors came to Hoboken on March 2, for the second LepreCon bar crawl.
