Three Hudson County Residents Say They Were Assaulted While Watching Superbowl in Hoboken Bar
The alleged assailant wasn't arrested and was an acquaintance of the victims, police said.
Three Hudson County residents told Hoboken police they were assaulted in a bar on downtown Washington Street while watching the Superbowl, according to police reports.
A 31-year-old West New York man, a 28-year-old North Bergen woman and a 27-year-old woman from Union City told police they had run into an acquaintance at the bar.
A verbal altercation among the four became physical when the alleged assaulter started swinging his fists, police said. He punched the West New York man and one of the women in the face, police said.
The woman was struck when she tried to break up the fight, police said.
The assaulter left the bar together with his six friends, police said, and left the area by walking uptown on Washington Street.
No arrests were made.

1 - Why aren't the names of the bars published? They do not have a right to have their names withheld if the story is accurate.
2 - It seems like this was a group of trash that came from outside of Hoboken to fight themselves.....
