Where to Shop in Hoboken on Small Business Saturday
Hoboken is open for business and many businesses are participating in Small Business Saturday on Nov. 24.
If Black Friday is too much craziness for you, there's another chance to shop and support local businesses.
And local shopping is necessary, business owners say.
On Saturday, Hoboken is participating in Small Business Saturday. The event, sponsored by American Express, will be hard to miss in Hoboken. Banners have been placed at multiple locations, according to Greg Dell'Aquila, president of Hoboken's Chamber of Commerce.
Together with Eugene Flinn, the owner of Elysian Cafe and Amanda's, Dell'Aquila has been delivering banners and merchandise promoting the day. (merchandise includes t-shirts and tote bags).
Some of the participating businesses include:
- Big Fun Toys
- Stans Sport Center
- Lana Santorelli Art Gallery
- Second Time Around
- Beau Brummel
- Copper Kettles
- Romparoo
- Viva La Nails
- Bangz Salon
- Hair Cult
- Marma Day Spa
- Galatea
- Peper
- Guitar Bar Jr.
If you're looking to find out which other businesses — and many restaurants and food establishments — are participating in the event, take a look at this map.
