WEEKLY ART WORKSHOP AT THE HOBOKEN SHELTER WHEN: Mondays 8pm – 9pm WHERE: The Hoboken Shelter, 300 Bloomfield St, Hoboken, NJ 07030 COST: Free Invitation to join the Weekly Art Workshop at the Hoboken Shelter – FREE! Come join us at the Hoboken Shelter every Monday evening from 8pm-9pm for our free Art Workshop! Everyone is welcome. All of us have a creative spark. To share that spark with our guests at the Hoboken Shelter not only gives one an artistic outlet, but it also provides our shelter guests with a much-needed human connection. The classes encompass several disciplines including drawing, painting, 3-D design, etc. and are taught by Jodi Zulueta, a mixed-media artist. There are no social statuses in art. Come share an hour of your time in a creative environment with individuals who love art as much as you do. You will feel an enormous sense of fulfillment while allowing those who are less fortunate to enjoy a creative, uplifting experience. More About The Hoboken Shelter
The Hoboken Shelter is in the basement of Saint John's Lutheran Church and was established in 1982. It provides shelter for 50 people and feeds 200 each evening. It also offers training programs, counseling and homelessness prevention programs.
