This is an 1 1/2h combination class including tap, jazz and musical theater. Students put the fundamentals to work by learning new steps, rhythms, patterns, combinations and choreography, as well as song-and-dance numbers, acting, and how to express emotion and portray a character through movement and facial expression. This class is designed for students to learn different styles of Broadway choreography such as Fosse, Hoofing, Stomp, and Kickline. Students are strongly encouraged to study ballet and jazz simultaneously for the best possible experience.

Garden Street School of the Performing Arts offers classes for young children, teens and adults. It houses such departments as dance, music, acting and art. Dance classes offered include jazz, modern, ballet yoga, Irish step, Zumba, and Broadway. Music classes are available for piano, stringed instruments and drums. Acting classes offered include musical theater and acting, acting for the stage, comedy and improv and audition and monologue technique.
