Thursday in Hoboken: Business Workshop, Weekly Wine and Cheese

*The New Jersey Economic Development Authority will be hosting a Stronger NJ Business Workshop for businesses damaged by Superstorm Sandy at Hoboken City Hall on Thursday at 9 a.m.

*The Ramos Campaign will hold its first weekly "Wine and Cheese" meeting at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at "Vision for Hoboken" headquarters, 801 Washington St., to discuss local issues like flooding, parking and quality of life with residents.

*New York Times best-selling author Loren Long will visit the Hoboken Dual Language Charter School (HoLa) Thursday as part of the Read for the Record campaign.

*The City of Hoboken is providing free seasonal flu vaccines for adult Hoboken residents on Thursday from noon to 6 p.m. in Assumption Hall at Hoboken University Medical Center, 308 Willow Avenue. Proof of residency is required.

*Residents can grab fresh produce at the Hoboken Uptown Farmers’ Market on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the corner of 13th and Hudson streets.
