Thursday in Hoboken: FBW Fundraiser, 'Sopranos' Star Book Signing

*Hudson Riverkeeper Paul Gallay, a lawyer and educator whose work to protect the Hudson River from pollution sparked a movement to clean up rivers across the country, will tell his story on Thursday at the Fund for a Better Waterfront's Annual Fundraising Party. Tickets are $75 and can be purchased online on the Fund's website.

*"Sopranos" star Joe Pantoliano will sign copies of his two memoirs to raise money for his charity Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Hoboken Hot House, 200 Monroe St.

*Enjoy a night of wine, hors d'oeuvres and men's fashion Thursday at Barsky Gallery, 49 Harrison Street, at UNTUCKit's "Reds and Threads," event. Tickets to the private event, which will feature UNTUCKit founder and host of Pardonthatvine.com Chris Riccobono, are $75. 

*Head over to City Bistro Thursday night for an Expectant Mommies Social to meet other women with babies on the way and have your pregnancy and post-pregnancy questions answered by Dr. Z. Baker of Riverside Pediatrics. Tickets are $35 in advance or $40 at the door.

*A biweekly support group for Hudson County residents still experiencing the effects of Superstorm Sandy will hold its third session Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Hoboken Historical Museum. The session's topic will be on the topic how to speak to children about disasters.
