Thursday in Hoboken: HFA Tasting Event, Relay for Life Benefit Concert

*The Hoboken Family Alliance will hold its third annual Hoboken Tasting and Gala, ”Around the World in One Square Mile,” Thursday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Kolo Klub, located at 1422 Grand St. Tickets are $100 at the door.

*Three local bands are performing a benefit show Thursday night at Willie McBride's with all proceeds going to Relay For Life of Hoboken. The bands featured are Mercury Morning, Mad Dog Mary and Universal Rebel. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the concert starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 at the door.

*The Redwing Zumbathon series is back by popular demand. Starting Thursday night and continuing most Thursday nights through November, instructor Chanta Blue will lead Zumbathon classes at the Hoboken High School gymnasium from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Entry is $5 for students and $10 for adults. Proceeds benefit the HHS Class of 2014.

*Residents can grab fresh produce at the Hoboken Uptown Farmers’ Market on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the corner of 13th and Hudson streets.
