Wednesday in Hoboken: Vision 20/20 Forum, Zimmer Campaign Kick-Off

*The third in a series of four public forums on Vision 20/20, a plan to modernize Hoboken's housing authority stock, is scheduled for Wednesday at 6 p.m. at 221 Jackson St.

*Mayor Dawn Zimmer will hold a launch party to kick off her re-election campaign at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Chris and Albie Manzo-owned Little Town NJ on Sinatra Drive.

*Hoboken Mommies is partnering with Pier 13 for an August Family Fun Night of entertainment, activities, giveaways and a water slide for the kids. The free event begins at at 5 p.m. at Pier 13.

*There's a free outdoor screening of "The Croods" at Pier A Park, located on 1st Street and Sinatra Drive, as part of the city's weekly Movies Under the Stars series. Wednesday's show begins at 8 p.m. For the best seating, come early and bring a blanket or low-back chair. You may bring food, but alcohol consumption is not permitted and subject to a fine.

*The Minecraft Maker's Club, a club that exposes kids to science, mathematics, engineering and technology careers through gaming, is holding a meeting from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the HOPES CAP, Inc.'s second floor computer lab, located at 311 Garden St.
