JOINT LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey are pleased to honor Tyrone Huggins, highly esteemed within the Hoboken Police Department, who will be sworn in as a Police Officer on March 24, 2014; and,

WHEREAS, Tyrone Huggins has served with distinction in the Hoboken Police Department as a Special Class II Officer; and,
WHEREAS, During his exemplary service to the Police Department, Tyrone Huggins has continually demonstrated his devotion to the City of Hoboken through his steadfast commitment to securing the safety and welfare of its citizenry; and,

WHEREAS, The depth of his knowledge and the breadth of his experience have contributed immeasurably to the successful functioning of the Department; and,
WHEREAS, Within all the spheres of his life and work, Tyrone Huggins has established a model to emulate and set a standard of excellence toward which others might strive; now, therefore,
Be It Resolved by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
That this Legislature hereby honors Tyrone Huggins upon the occasion of his Swearing In Ceremony, commends his many valuable years of service and leadership in the field of law enforcement, and extends to him this Legislature’s sincere best wishes; and,
Be It Further Resolved, That a duly authenticated copy of this resolution, signed by the Senate President and the Assembly Speaker and attested by the Senate Secretary and the Assembly Clerk, be transmitted to Tyrone Huggins.
