Honig is currently vice president of NJAHU, which he has been actively involved with since shortly after his graduation from Towson University in 2009. He quickly rose to the position of president of the Central New Jersey Chapter in 2011. In 2012, Honig was awarded NJAHU’s prestigious President’s Award in recognition of his ongoing efforts to support the employee benefits industry.

In 2013, Honig chaired a successful golf outing at NJAHU’s annual state conference, raising nearly $1,300 that it chose to donate to the Children’s Specialized Hospital of New Jersey.

Honig earned his life and health license in 2009, and is also CFC certified in flexible compensation plans. Since leaving college, he has worked for his family’s business, O.C.A. Benefit Services, LLC. Starting as a third party administrator, Honig is now O.C.A.’s manager of business development.
