St.Nicholas School (JC) Appoints New Principal

Jersey City, NJ – St. Nicholas School located in the Heights of Jersey City is pleased to announce the appointment by the Archdiocese of Newark - Office of the Superintendent of Schools - of Mrs. Bernadette Miglin as Principal. Mrs. Miglin has recently served as Assistant to the Principal at St. Francis of Assisi School in the Haskell section of Wanaque, NJ where she also taught 3rd grade.

    On her appointment Mrs. Miglin said, “I am honored and pleased by the confidence demonstrated by the Superintendent, Dr. Margaret A. Dames, Ed.D with my appointment as Principal of St. Nicholas School. This is a wonderful and exciting time to join the St. Nicholas School community as we continue to provide an outstanding academic and spiritual environment for student learning and development. I look forward to continuing the tradition of St. Nicholas School as a place of strong academics, and help produce students who will solve the challenges of the 21st Century.”

    Mrs. Miglin holds an Ed.S in Education Leadership, Management, and Policy from Seton Hall University and a M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from Caldwell College. In addition, she holds an M.B.A. from Rutgers University. Mrs. Miglin is married, has two children and resides in Kinnelon, NJ.
