Summer Fun at HHA Unity Block Party

The Hoboken Housing Authority hosted a resident unity celebration block party on July 31st at 4th & Jackson and in the Mama Johnson Field. Public housing residents mingled with fellow members of the Hoboken community in a fun-filled day for the entire family. A DJ spun dance music, while children enjoyed three water slides, a bounce house and Juggles the Clown making balloons.

Members of the residents’ association board participated in a pot luck, prepared fresh salads and sides to accompany the chicken dogs and turkey burgers on wheat which were provided by the Hoboken Housing Authority.  Inserra Supermarkets generously donated all the soda and water and Room 84 donated the ice cream.

Volunteers from Hoboken Grace Church and housing residents all donated their time setting up, cooking and serving the food.
