Superstorm Sandy victim rebuilds home with one of a kind Defensive Building Materials and Techniques
See the rebuild, meet the homeowner, defensive building expert Steve Conboy, NJ Assemblyman Carmelo Garcia, Uniformed Firefighters Association of Greater NY President Steve Cassidy, and Jim Sherlock of Reborn International
Sea Bright--On Tuesday April 8th Sandy victim Julie Kellner will finally see her home go vertical after losing it in the storm nearly a year and a half ago. Home Depot will deliver her defensive lumber which has been treated to withstand fire, mold, and even storms. A team of defensive building experts, led by Eco Building Products President & CEO Steve Conboy, will be on hand to help with the rebuild. Team Eco has helped other victims in New Jersey and New York (including a Breezy point victim) learn how to rebuild defensively in the wake of disasters.
Assemblyman Carmelo Garcia, who represents New Jersey's 33rd district, says helping Sandy victims recover and rebuild is a priority. Many of his constituents in Hoboken, who were devastated by Superstorm Sandy, still haven't fully recovered. Assemblyman Garcia applauds Steve Conboy and Jim Sherlock, Founder of Reborn International, for their efforts to help Julie and other storm victims locally and abroad get back on their feet and rebuild their homes.
