Discounted Municipal Garage Parking Extended Through Weekend
Residents can park for $5 per day through 8 p.m. Sunday.
Discounted parking at municipal garages has been extended through Sunday night as more than a foot of snow buried Hoboken on Thursday.
Garage B on 2nd Street between Hudson and River streets and Garage D at 215 Hudson St. will be available until 8 p.m. Sunday for $5 per day for residents with valid parking permits or temporary placards. Residents with disabilities who have handicapped license plates or hang tags can park for the same rate in the Midtown Garage at 371 4th St.
Parking meters are also suspended through the end of Sunday to provide additional parking options, according to a Nixle alert released Thursday.
Residents can park on Washington Street between Observer Highway and 8th Street without paying the meter, the alert said.
