Hoboken Police Department To Hold Toy Drive

Donate toys and non-perishable foods!

The Hoboken Police Department needs your toys.

On Tuesday, December 11, the police department is looking to — literally — fill a bus full of toys. The toy drive will take place in front of police headquarters at First and Hudson Streets from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the 11th.

All Hobokenites are encouraged to drop off toys and non perishables.

"We will attempt to fill our police bus to the top with all of the donations and need your support to make this happen," said Sgt. Melissa Gigante, the organizer of the event. The Hoboken Fire Department, the Hoboken Motorcycle Club, the Hoboken Special Needs Parent Group, and the Wallace School Peer Leadership have already signed on to help with the initiative.

There'll also be hot coco and a chance to take your picture with Santa.
