Manzo Brothers Show Off Bartending Skills to Benefit Sandy Relief

Sandy relief efforts took a bit of a celebrity turn on Tuesday night.

Chris and Albie Manzo — Hoboken's inseparable celebrity brothers — spent the night bartending at the Village Pour House.

"It's easy for Al and I to help," Chris, 23, said, before the event started on Tuesday. The tips went directly to help Sandy relief, the brothers said.

The two wanted to help in the efforts, they said, and every little bit helps. During the storm, the Manzos delivered goods and supplies to the High School.

The reality star sons went back to Franklin Lakes for the duration of Sandy and drove into town a few days after.

"It was like Gotham City," said Chris, recalling the lack of power and the many national guard trucks in Hoboken at the time. "It was sad."

His brother agreed.

"It was this thing out of a movie," Albie, 26, said.

But while Hoboken has been hit badly, the Mile Square is recovering quicker than some other places the brothers have been to.

"We definitely bounced back quicker," said Albie, referring to destroyed places on the Jersey Shore as well as Staten Island.

The recovery, however, will last much longer than a night of bartending — and the brothers know this.

Hoboken seems to be up to that challenge.

"Hoboken is great in a crisis," Albie said. "We are a town of 20 somethings who want to volunteer ... we are so lucky to have that community."
