Party With a Purpose Sprints to Help Hoboken Youth Charities

10th annual 5K and Kids' Fun Run expected to draw more than 1,500 competitors Tuesday at Pier A.

More than 1,500 participants are expected Tuesday in the 10th annual Party With a Purpose 5K and Kids' Fun Run at Pier A.

The event is on track to surpass last year's more than $60,000 donated to local youthΒ charities, including the Hoboken Boys & Girls Club and Jubilee Center.

In-person registration is $35 and the kids' race is free.

The kids run begins at 3:30 p.m., check-in for the 5K starts at 5:30 p.m. with the race getting underway at 7 p.m. The after-party will be immediately following the race (admission is free for runners, volunteers and sponsors. ID is required).

The race results will be available atΒ compuscore.comΒ or competitors can scan the QR code on the back of the race T-shirt.

Prizes will be awarded to the fastest men, women, co-ed teams and largest teams.
