Calling All of Hoboken's Amateur Chefs

The Jersey Booze experiment is coming to Hoboken next month, and you're invited.

If you have any cooking skills, don't click away just yet, because this event may be of interest to you. 

On November 11, Food Experiments—a cook-off organization—is coming to Maxwell's in Hoboken and hosting the Booze Experiment. All of Hoboken's amateur chefs are invited to participate in the event, which will run from 1 to 4 p.m. at the popular venue.

All guests will have a choice in determinig the winners of the day. There will also be a panel of professionals at hand.

On the panel judging the dishes on Nov. 11 are: Anne McBride, Strategic Initiatives Group, CIA and Experimental Cuisine Collective, Adam Robb, NJmonthly.com restaurant critic, Philly Thrillist Editor, Chef Anthony Pino, owner of Anthony David’s and Bin 14, Anthony Scillia, Alan Watts and Gennaro Pecchia, from the website Men Who Dine.

Tickets are $15 and will get you a Brooklyn Brewery pint.
