Auditions for Psycho Beach Party

The Theater Company of Hoboken presents PSYCHO BEACH PARTY by Charles Busch – playwright and star of the recent Off-Broadway hit, THE DIVINE SISTER.

Directed by George Seylaz, Psycho Beach Party is about Chicklet, a tomboy, who desperately wants to be part of the surf crowd on Malibu Beach in 1962. The only thing getting in the way besides Mommie Dearest is her split personalities. Among them is a black check out girl, an elderly radio talk show hostess and a male model named Steve. Her most dangerous alter ego is a sexually
voracious vixen named Ann Bowman who has nothing less than world domination on her mind.

TTC is seeking 11 actors to fill 5 male and 6 female roles (*please note two of the "female" roles MAY be played by men). Non-Equity/non-pay, but small travel stipends available for most roles. Familarity with the script and/or Charles Busch's
work helpful but not necessary. Auditions will be done from sides - no monologue necessary.
