The Front Bottoms perform at Maxwell's

New Jersey-based indiepop duo THE FRONT BOTTOMS will be performing in Hoboken on Saturday January 28th at Maxwell's. Their self-titled debut, which received critical acclaim from All Music Guide, Alternative Press, The Aquarian Weekly (Disc of the Week), The Star-Ledger, and Absolute Punk among many others was released on September 6th via seminal indie label Bar/None Records. Very clever and funny wordplay delivered through very distinctive and quirky vocals... DRUM! Magazine called it "a promising debut boasting the inspired goofiness of a latter-day Jonathan Richman."

The Front Bottoms are MACBETH shoes' "Band of the Month" for January. Their singles "Maps" and "The Beers" have been picking up steam on radio with support from over 20 commercial rock stations, including KROQ (Los Angeles), WRFF Radio 104.5 (Philadelphia), WXRT (Chicago), WEQX (Albany), KTCZ (Minneapolis), WBRU (Providence), and the band's first ever commercial in-studio performance at WROX in Norfolk. In addition, the band has received key non-commercial spins from WFUV (New York), WAPS (Akron), and WXPN (Philadelphia). Below, please find a link to their Free At Noon performance on NPR.
