The Pirates of Penzance
The Pirates of Penzance, by Gilbert and Sullivan, directed and adapted by Clara Barton Green, is the story of Frederic, who,
having completed his 21st year, is released from his apprenticeship to a band of tender-hearted pirates. Upon his release he meets and falls in love with Mabel, the daughter of Major-General Stanley, and shortly thereafter finds out that due to a trick clause in his apprenticeship, he has actually not been released from his
indentures. Will Frederic betray his new-found love in favor of his duty? And what of the pirates who are plotting revenge against the Major-General for having cheated them out of plunder? A funny, interactive musical for the whole family!
