Two artists and a photographer, three visions, one purpose: create
Art Exhibit in New Empty Condos: The Second Show
Hoboken resident Laurel brooks is a realtor who loves to paint. She states, " I started making paintings for staging condos and fell in love with it again. I hadn't painted since college and I'm so happy when I paint - I thought 'why not use the empty condos as galleries'?"
Resident of Jersey City and native of Venezuela, Maria Castillo creates colorful, exuberant abstractions which use cosmic and cell-like structures as form and metaphor. The artist states," Everytime I paint I discover the meaning of happiness through my painting". She hopes the viewer will as well.

Hoboken photographer Andrea Milo seeks to interpret visceral reactions to human encounters and to create an emotional conection to place and time. The artist states," As long as I can remember I have tried to capture images and preserve those visions that touch me. The instinct to photograph is born of the need for self- expression, connection and interpretation"
