Fans Flock to Maxwell's for Justin Timberlake Commercial Shoot

Fans packed streets around Maxwell's Wednesday night for a Justin Timberlake commercial shoot.

Justin Timberlake fans descended on Maxwell's in Hoboken Wednesday night to catch a glimpse of the pop star who was filming a commercial inside the recently-closed rock club.

"Join me & @Target tonight for just one song. Let's "Take Back the Night." First 150 get in. See you there!," Timberlake tweeted just after 6:30 p.m. The tweet, which included a picture of Maxwell's and instructed fans to "Take NJ Transit," because no parking would be available, was retweeted almost 1,500 times.

Timberlake, who was accompanied by his wife, actress Jessica Biel, wrapped up his shoot around 9 p.m., the Jersey Journal reported. His appearance reportedly drew "thousands" of fans to the iconic club, which officially closed its doors on July 31, following an epic block party.
