Hudson Riverkeeper to Headline FBW Fundraiser

The Fund for a Better Waterfront, which has worked toward securing a public waterfront in Hoboken park along the Hudson River, will hold its annual fundraising party on Thursday, Nov. 21.

Hudson Riverkeeper Paul Gallay, a lawyer and educator whose work to protect the Hudson River from pollution sparked a movement to clean up rivers across the country, will tell his story next Thursday at the Fund for a Better Waterfront's Annual Fundraising Party.

The annual fundraiser, which provides residents a chance to celebrate the Hoboken waterfront and learn about future FBW-proposed waterfront preservation work, begins at 7 p.m. at the Hoboken Elks Club.

The event features treats by Zafra Kitchens, dessert from Choc-O-Pain French Bakery & Cafe, an open bar and a live jazz performance by the Riverview Band. Event sponsors include Teak on the Hudson, Liberty Realty and Choice Properties.
